About The Writer

Hello, I'm Mabel Stevens, the writer of "In Him Blogs." Although I've only recently taken up writing as a hobby, I've always been passionate about it. As a young girl, you could find me journaling at any given time of the day. This helped me to improve my skills improve as a writer. Through my writing, I hope to inspire my generation and future generations to live for God. "In Him Blogs" comprises personal journal entries, life reflections, devotionals, and posts written by guest authors. I believe that our words are powerful and can inspire others in a way that can bring about catalytic change that can carry on far beyond our lifetime. In my free time, I enjoy reading Christian literature. I believe that the best writers are also readers. Some of my favorite authors are Lysa TerKeurst and Pastors John and Lisa Bevere.

I tell everyone I'm just a girl who fell in love with Jesus because without Him, I wouldn’t be who I am today. During my preteen years, I questioned some of life's most difficult questions: "Who am I?" and "Why do I exist?" After a life-defining encounter at a church service one evening, I found my identity and purpose in Christ. I decided from that moment because Christ died for me, I would live for Him.
